About the programThroughout the TCYP L.I.F.E. Mentoring program, TCYP volunteers will serve as role models and give students the opportunity to network and learn from young professionals in the local community. Through a variety of short presentations and experiential activities, students can better understand the relationship between what they learn in school and the program topics and apply skills and knowledge in real-time. There is no cost for students participating in this program!

Who are the TCYPs? |
The Traverse City Young Professionals network is a group of community engaged and locally focused young leaders. The TCYP committee emphasizes their efforts towards maximizing the way young professionals connect, serve, and grow within our community. Involvement in the TCYP committee includes a quarterly meeting that highlights local updates from the City of Traverse City, TCAPS, Grand Traverse County, Garfield Township, and the Downtown Development Authority. In addition, the months that don’t include the quarterly meeting the TCYPs host a “Morning Brew” series, which allows YPs to talk to local leaders about the area’s most pressing topics over their morning coffee.
